    2. Does Cardroomjobs.com accept all job posts?

    Due to the nature of our industry, the majority of the postings on the Cardroomjobs.com Job Bank are for the poker industry (dealers, bartenders, cashiers).

    3. Does Cardroomjobs.com check the validity of employers posting events or searching positions as well as people posting resumés?

    Cardroomjobs.com does not take responsibility for any of the postings or any accuracy of the postings on the Job Bank. We are simply a medium for folks to find and connect with each other. Use your own intelligence when dealing with the postings here.

    4. How much does it cost?

    The use of the Job Bank is currently free for Job Seekers, but in the near future we will charge a nominal fee to them.

    Employers organizations wishing to search for people posted in the Job Bank and browse resumés offers different plans.

    5. How does it work?

    Employers, as well as job seekers need to first create a profile to use the Job Bank. You create a profile by clicking the Create a NEW account link on the Job Bank control panel.

    The email address used to create the profile will be the contact email for all correspondence with the Job Bank. After the profile is created you can add a resume to your account or just strat searching if you are an employer. Information on resumes can be different than what is on the profile.

    6. How do I log in?

    You can log in by clicking the Log in link in the Control Panel. If you have not created a profile, you will need to in order to log in. See faq #5 on how to create a profile.

    7. What if I forgot my password?

    The email address used to create the profile is the log in email address for the account. If you have forgotten the password, go to the forgot password page and enter the profile email address and click 'Submit'. Instructions will be sent to the email address regarding the password.

    8. Can I submit more than 1 post?

    Resumés associated to an email are limited to 1 posting per person.

    9. Will Cardroomjobs.com edit or correct my post?

    Cardroomjobs.com does not correct misspellings or errors in posts and we are not responsible for the accuracy or legitimacy of postings. If your resume needs changes, you can login under the profile email address and edit it.

    10. How do I make a change or delete my post?

    Changes or deletions to posts are done by the person who created the profile (account). After logging in, the profile owner clicks 'Update resumé' or 'My Resume' from the Control Panel. Once you have accessed the post, you can either make changes, delete it, or deactivate/activate it. Member profiles can also be edited by clicking on 'My Profile' from the Control Panel.

    11. Can I turn off a post without deleting it?

    Yes. See faq #6 on directions to log in and then you can choose to deactivate the post. Follow the same directions if you want to activate it later.

    12. How long does my post stay online?

    The resume will display on the Cardroomjobs.com Job Bank for 90 days (unless you remove it) from the day it was submitted or from the day it was updated. You need to renew/update it (by previewing it and submitting it) within the 90 days in order for it to continue to display. If you do not renew it, your resume will be dormant for a maximum of 6 months. If you do not renew it during that period, it will be removed from the Job Bank. You can also delete it yourself by logging in and deleting it from your profile. See faq #10 on directions to delete a post.
